Nice silver plate cylindrical box. It is marked on the bottom Industrie Argentina, what look like the letters GYP in a shield and Repr. Sheffield. It has a detailed engraving on both sides (the last picture shows the piece before it was cleaned and it is easier to see the design). The silverplate is in good condition. I was told this was a biscuit box, but it seems too narrow for that purpose. It is about 8-1/2 inches tall with the lid on and 3-3/4 wide at the base. A nice solid, heavy piece.
