Up for bid is a really nice early washboard. It is made by the National Washboard Co. It is patented & is no. 197. It is in excellent- condition. There is just a tad of surface rust on the front metal.  It probably could cleaned easily with wd-40. It is made of wood & steel which was fused with porcelain enamel. All that info is explained on the back of the board.  Just think when your washing machine breaks down you will have a great alternative. The board measures 25" x 13" x 2".
