Zombies - 8 Classic Movies on DVD Once Viewed - Romero

Eight Classic DVD Zombie movies, including the originals, sequels, remakes and spin-offs of George Romero's  Night of the Living Dead. Click on the "enlarge" button above for a closer look. All were purchased new, and viewed once. They're all in like new condition.  Contact me if you have questions. Here are the movies you're bidding on.

1. Night of the Living Dead: 1968  Colorized version!!! This is the king of all Zombie movies. It's the classic from 1968 directed by George Romero, and co-written by George Romero and John Russo. The original movie was in Black & White, but for this release, 20th Century Fox colorized the film. You haven't seen this classic until you've seen it in color.

2. Night of the Living Dead: 1990.This is the remake of the original classic with new talent, a new script, and a bigger budget, in widescreen on one side, and fullscreen on the reverse. Don't worry. You won't think you're watching the same old movie. This is an great remake.

3. Dawn of the Dead: 1978. This was George Romero's first sequel to his classic Night of the Living Dead. It's morning, and  the the earth is still crawling with zombies. This is a Special Divimax Edition in Widescreen with extra features.

4. Dawn of the Dead: 2004. This is the recent big budget Universal Studios remake of Dawn of the Dead. Unrated Director's cut in Widescreen with talent like Ving Rhames, Sarah Polley, Jake Weber and Mekhi Phifer, it's an awsome reproduction of the classic sequel. Bonus features.

5. Day of the Dead: 1985. George Romero's third film in the triology. This is a Widescreen version. Survivors are living underground in a missle silo and trying to control the undead. It's a great final chapter for George Romero.  

6. Day of the Dead 2: Contagium: 2005 This is both Prequel and Sequel to George Romero's trilogy above. It takes you back to 1968 before the original events of Night of the Living Dead, then jets you forward 37 years to the present day. This is in Widescreen. It wasn't written by George Romero, but it's a great tie-up for the trilogy.  

7. Land of the Dead: 2005 In the same year that Day of the Dead 2 came out, George Romero wrote and directed his own final chapter to the series. This is the Unrated Director's Cut. This film features some great talent like Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento, and John Leguizamo and awsome special effects.

8. Return of the Living Dead Necropolis: 2005 Widescreen. This is actually the fourth film in a series of zombie movies that also grew out of the original Night of the Living Dead film above. When George Romero and David Russo split up after their original collaboration, Russo retained the right to make "Living Dead" movies and Romero went on to make the "Dawn of" of and "Day of" movies. Russo's sequels haven't recieved as much acclaim as Romero's. In part because they are a mix of Zombie horror and wonderfully sick humor. This is a good one, and leaves you room to go back and collect the other three, as well as any more that hit the shelves.

Note on returns: I list DVDs as "no return." I know that makes some folks uneasy especially when purchasing used DVDs. However, I've had problems with other DVDs being copied then returned, or simply watched, then returned. (I'm not trying to rent these movies...I mean to sell them). Anyway, if you get the movies and there's a problem with the quality or condition, or you think I misrepresented what I was selling, then contact me and I'll try to work it out with you.
