Includes 6 very useful tools for working with lead came. All the tools are brand new and the kit will include the following items.

  • lead came vise

    • The Lead came vise assists the artist in stretching lead came by giving the artist a secure hold on the came while the artist stretches the came. Lead cames must be stretched before you use them. This process straightens the came and gives them added strength.

  • LEAD CAME NIPPER HAND TOOL

    • Cuts all sizes of lead came. Unlike regular wire cutters, lead came cutters can be used to cut lead came and small sized wire. Came cutters provide the artist with two different types of cuts depending on how you hold the tool. Flat side toward the cut yields a flat cut, perfect for 90 degree lead joints. If you rotate the tool to face the oppisite direction and make you cut you will get a pointed cut, two 45 degree angles perfect for corner joints. You can also angle the cutter to create a wide variety of angles. YOU NEED THIS TOOL! Diagonal cutting pliers with special flush-ground jaws will cut perfectly straight or at mitered angles.

  • The Fid'l Stick by Studio K

    • This great little tool is perfect for cleaning the polish and grout around lead came as well as burnishing, smoothing, cleaning and the perfect tool for creating jump rings. Handy little item.

    • Great for cleaning older lead came that has oxidized and for cleaning lead came before making a solder joint.

  • Lead Came Shears

    • Just the right amount of spacing for cutting patterns to be used in lead came work.

    Great knife for cutting came and end of handle doubles as a great little tapper for tapping in small nails and framing points.
