The following cards in this set have been graded by Beckett Grading Services.



Jackie Robinson, #10  BVG 5  Corners are very sharp and square.  Centering is just slightly off.  There is some light brown discoloration around cards edges.  There is also what we can only describe as a "tobacco-like" stain located between "Jackie" and "outfield" on the front of card.  Very bright and bold colors.  This one presents beautifully.



Willie Mays, #90  BVG "Authentic"  Card has been slabbed "Authentic" because as you can see, there is considerable paper loss on the back of card.  Corners do show rounding.  Speckling on the front of card.  O/C both side to side and top to bottom.  Presents very well with bright and bold colors.



Ernie Banks RC, #94  BVG 3  Corners show some touching, just beginning to round.  A bit off-center.  Very light "hairline" crease just above photo of Banks batting.  Card appears to have a slight, brownish tint to the front, but colors still pop.  A very solid VG graded example.



Al Kaline RC, #201  BVG "Authentic"  Very heavy paper loss on the back of card.  Heavy creasing and tear along top right edge.  Corners do show rounding.  Still features very bright and bold colors.



Ted Williams, #250  BVG 5.5   Corners show just light touching.  A bit off-center side to side.  Side edges show some rough cutting.  Beautiful, crease-free surface with gorgeous color.  This one's a beauty.




Hank Aaron RC, #128 BVG 3   Corners are rounded.  Some very light speckling on front of card.  Surface is crease free.  Strong centering.  Very bright and bold colors. This one presents very well.


These cards come straight from an estate sale, assembled by a collector from Pennsylvania in the 1970's.

Wow!  Here is your chance to add this classic, iconic set to your collection.  This set is loaded with stars like Ted Williams(x2), Warren Spahn, Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Yogi Berra & Wilie Mays, along with the Rookie cards of Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, Tommy Lasorda, Bill Skoowron, plus many more.  Truly a set rich in baseball history!

Please note that on average, this is not a high grade condition lot.  You will find that the majority of cards will show moderate(see Sain, Bower, LaSorda cards above) to heavy(see Williams, Rizzuto, Moon above) corner wear consisting of rounding, fuzzing, creasing, etc.  and/or moderate to heavy(see Willaims, Rizzuto, Sain above) surface creasing.  However, there will be a handful of cards with little if any creasing, and very light wear to corners(est. 10-15%).  The overall average grade throughout, should range from G-Vg to VgEx, with of course, a few exceptions either way.  You will find the colors to be bright and bold on the majority of cards throughout the set.
