Bernina Aurora/Artista Embroidery Module  

Bernina Aurora/Artista Embroidery Module for Aurora 430/430E, 435/435E/450/450E, & 440/440QE/440QEE; and Artista 630/630E, 640/640E, 200E, & 730E sewing machines.  Embroidery Module comes with Medium Hoop and grid, Embroidery Foot #26, Thread net, needles and 2 spools of Madeira Embroidery thread.  Embroidery module does not require software to operate on Artista 200, 630, 640,  and 730 series sewing machines.  These sewing/embroidery machines have internal computer to embroider designs.   The Aurora servers sewing machines require external computer and design software to embroider designs (430, 435, 450, & 440 series).  I have fully checked out the Embroidery module and it work perfectly on my Atrista 730E.  I have Bernina embroidery design software available if you need it.  See below.

You have the option to exchange the Medium Hoop and Grid for Small Hoop and appropriate Grid, if you want.  Additional Hoops Medium and/or Small Hoops with Grid are available for $50.00 extra.

I have the following Bernina Embroidery Design software available for purchase, if needed.  Bernina version 4 software works on Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP (does not work on Vista).  Bernina version 5 software works on Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. Software is required for operation of the Embroidery module on Aurora sewing/embroidery machines.  It is optional on Artista sewing machines (Artista sewing machines have internal computer that will embroider designs provided by USB  memory stick or CD rom). All software come with the Dongle, CD, manuals, and other item shown in software pictures.

My understanding the Viking 4D software support the Bernina sewing machine and embroidery module also, since software includes definitions for Bernina Aurora and Artistra sewing/embroidery machines and hoops.  Software communicates with sewing machine by USB cable in EXP design format. Check other software vendors for Bernina support.
