Description:
Bidding is for two COLOR super 8mm sound film condensations from feature films. Each is one reel, runs approx. 16 minutes, and each follows a complete story line from selected scenes.
The films in this lot include:
1. STAR WARS from 1977, including an all-star cast of iconic characters. This is the film that changed the way we look at sci-fi and fantasy films.
2. SUPERMAN from 1978, right on the heels of one of the greatest sci-fi productions comes the return of the Man of Steel, a character that had suffered decades of neglect.
Both of these films are splice free, have long head leaders, good contrast, color and sound, no damage cuts, and both are in their original boxes.
The films run smoothly but probably should be cleaned before projecting to ensure a smooth run.
Watch for more super 8mm film in coming weeks spotlighting the works of, Laurel & Hardy (sil & sd), Buster Keaton (sil), Little Rascals (sil & sd), Harold Lloyd (sil), and Chapter One of the serial ZORRO'S FIGHTING LEGION.
