This auction is for an older Piggy bank. It is a pig with a top hat and a one eyed spectacle. Bottom front reads, USS Pig Iron. The piece appears to be made of a tin or pewter and is approx. 6 ½” tall. The money slot and opening are on the bottom. Unfortunately the former owner must have lost the key and removed the door to get at the money. The door is missing as well as the key. This is on the bottom, so it is not visible when displayed. The hinges are sticking out a little and will need to be bent in, for the bank to sit exactly flat. The bank does show wear. It has discoloring which I am not sure if it is from age or from being cleaned at one time. I am selling it as found. I have not cleaned it.
Buyer is responsible for actual shipping cost for USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation. There is no handling or packaging charge. Some small items will be shipped by first class mail. I try to calculate these as close to actual cost as possible. The rate for these items will be given in the auction.
Payment must be received within 7 days of auction end. Item will be shipped the next business day (Monday thru Friday) after payment is received.
