900 Silver BAMBILLA from CHILE w/ QUETZAL & STRAW

CHILEAN DESIGN - BOLD -- HEAVY - IMPRESSIVE !!! Found this 4-1/2" tall mate' pedestal cup with a sculptured quetzal bird handle and 9" pierced-bulb silver straw from St. Louis estate. Cup is clearly marked: CHILE - PLATA - 900 (another mark is illegible but appears to be a mountain peak image ? ). The silver straw bears no mark. Shoulder of cup is heavily sculpted. The silver is like satin to the touch. We'rer told by silver appraiser that this type cup is used for sipping a strong herbal tea that is usually a shared experience.
