A very difficult to find Mopar muscle car promo.   True dealer coaster promotional car model in a scarce color.  The chrome is original but graying from age.  One of the three spokes on the steering wheel appears to have been repaired and the pillars show some bending.

This is a vintage dealer promotional 1/25^th plastic scale model car.  It is 44 years old now and is a collectible piece of history that was created to help sell the then all new Plymouth Barracuda fastback.  This car was available in late 1966 and 1967, and is the only year Plymouth or Chrysler sold or gave away this plastic promo toy car.  Promo models were made primarily by AMT, MPC, Johan and a few by Hubley.  Automobile manufacturers and dealership personnel have long recognized the value of having small replicas of the full-sized cars that they manufactured and sold.  Automobile dealer promos along with toy store friction versions are scale model replicas authorized by respective manufactures for use by their franchised dealers and in some cases the toy trade.  Please check back as I will be selling numerous promo cars, many in mint condition and rare colors.
