~Vintage Blythe~
****Due to complications with shipping internationally, this item had to be re-listed.****
Offered here is a vintage 1972 Kenner Blythe doll. She comes with her original tagged dress and also a pair of shorts. I don't know if the shorts are original or not. She measures approx. 11 1/2" tall. Her eyes correctly change to 4 different colors: amber, pink, blue and green. Her eyelashes, eyeshadow and lip color look nice and she still has a little bit of her cheek color. Her facial skin tone has a nice, glossy type of shine to it. The left side of her forehead had some scratches/knicks type of damage as can be seen in the pictures. I've been told that the damage can be sanded away with a fine piece of sanding paper and then the area re-touched up with an appropriate flesh color, but I will leave that up to the winner.
Her hair is very soft and shiny everywhere except for the bottom section which is dry and frizzy. The hair is uneven in length.
There are identification marks on her back that include the words Blythe, Kenner and 1972.
Her crotch has a split - see pic below. Her legs bend at the knees and click twice backwards and once forward. There is a very small spot on one leg as can be seen in the picture below. I have not tried to clean it so do not know whether it can be removed.
The dress is in very nice condition.

~Shipping~
I do NOT add a handling fee. Shipping is calculated by the weight of the package and by zipcode. You will have the choice of either usps parcel post or usps priority mail.
If Media Mail or Parcel Post are options for shipping, PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR DELIVERY WHEN CHOOSING EITHER OF THOSE METHODS. Both take longer than priority mail.
*Important: For packages that will be shipped via UPS, please remember that UPS will NOT ship to PO Boxes. You MUST have a street address in order for me to ship via UPS. If you do not, or if you are paying through paypal and your confirmed address is a PO Box, I will ONLY be able to ship via USPS and the shipping rate will most likely be higher.
International Bidders:
We are currently only accepting international buyers on a "per buyer" basis. If you would like to bid and you live outside the U.S., please send us an e-mail through ebay.
All custom fees are the responsibility of the buyer and all customs documents will be filled out correctly in accordance with US law. Items will be marked as "merchandise" and the value as the ending value of the auction. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. If you ask us to forge customs documents, we will have no choice but to cancel the transaction and re-list the item. Again, this is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
We are always happy to combine shipping for multiple, same day purchases.
We normally ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment.

~Payment~
Currently, paypal is the only payment method we accept.
Payment is due within 7 days of purchase. If payment is not received within 7 days, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and relist the item.
If you will not be paying within the first day or so, we ask that you PLEASE e-mail us and let me know when to expect payment. That way, you are not mistaken for a non-paying bidder.

~Fine Print~
The vintage toys/items/dolls that we sell are NOT for children. They are for adult collectors only.
Other considerations: We are a smoke-free home. We are NOT a pet-free home. One dog and 2 cats share our home with us.
Although we are a smoke-free home, many items that we sell were bought at estate sales or places other than a retail store and may have odors associated with those places. I try very hard to air out all items before listing them, but to be on the safe side, if certain odors are offensive to you, be sure to send me an e-mail asking whether those odors are present as refunds will NOT be given for odor related issues.
ITEM HISTORY: We buy our items at estate sales, therefore, we do NOT know the history of the item prior to the day we bought it and many times cannot accurately answer various questions such as "Where was it stored?", "Is the make-up original?", "Has it ever been repaired?", ect., ect. So, please be aware that my answer to many of these types of questions will often be, "I don't know".
Refund Policy:
The short answer is: we only issue refunds for major flaws not stated in the description or shown in the pictures. (This does not include "As Is" or "TLC" items which are both "No Return - No Refund" items.)
However, since we sell mainly vintage, used items, a variety of situations/issues can arise, so we feel that a more detailed refund policy is beneficial and have outlined various situations below.
Additional refund policy details below:
- We do NOT give partial refunds. If you are unhappy with the item, please contact us to discuss whether returning the item for a refund of the purchase price is appropriate.
- TLC and AS IS ITEMS: Any items we list as "TLC" or "AS IS" are "No Return - No Refund" items.
- "TLC" or "AS IS" LOTS: We often list items in "lots" and for those that state "TLC" or "AS IS" we will usually NOT note the condition of each and every piece. Instead, some general statements about the items in the lot will be made. IE: some have stains, some don't, some are in good condition, some are TLC, ect. **Major flaws may or may not be stated on individual items within this type of lot. If you have questions about a particular item, it is extremely important that you ask BEFORE bidding as we will NOT issue refunds for major flaws not specifically stated on an individual item in a TLC or AS IS lot.
- FlAWS:The vast majority of the items that we sell are vintage and are NOT mint. If you do not see the word "MINT" in the description, then the item has been used/played with and wear and minor flaws SHOULD be expected. We list any major flaws that we see. However, please remember that we are layman (non-experts) and often do not know what to look for in terms of flaws, therefore it is extremely important that you ask any questions before bidding.
Should you find a major, obvious flaw that was NOT STATED in the auction, please contact us to discuss returning the item for a refund (does not apply to "AS IS" or "TLC" items/lots). A major flaw must NOT have been mentioned in the auction or shown in a picture in the listing in order for us to consider a refund AND it has to be one that any layman (non-expert) can see.
****Since it is the nature of items that are not new to have flaws, refunds will not be given for minor flaws not stated in the auction description.
- Odors: Although we are a smoke-free home, most items that we sell were bought at estate sales or places other than a retail store and may have odors associated with those places. we buy these items at estate sales and do NOT know where or how they have been stored and cannot guarantee items will be odor-free.
I try very hard to air out all items before listing them. If I detect an odor, I will state that in the listing, but my nose may not always be able to detect all odors. If certain odors are a health or personal issue for you, it is your responsibility to contact me with any questions concerning odors before bidding.
As stated earlier, we cannot guarantee items will be odor-free, so refunds will NOT be given for odor related issues.
- MANUFACTURER and AGE: We try to list items as accurately as possible in terms of age, name, manufacturer, ect., but vintage dolls and toys and other vintage items are sometimes hard to research. Therefore, it is extremely important that you ask questions BEFORE bidding. We are always happy to answer questions to the best of our knowledge and we try to answer as quickly as possible. However, please don't wait until the last minute to ask, as we are not always at the computer.
- NOTE: ALL ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED TO US WITHIN 7 DAYS BEFORE A REFUND CAN BE GIVEN.
