KAR MG-42 Replica Machine Gun Prop Gun WWII Markings

ONE: Replica MG-42 WWII Era stamped

          Thank you for looking.  Up for Auction is one Keystone Arsenal Replicas MG-42.  Known as the Buzzsaw, This MG-42 is made from many surplus parts and is all metal. The Receiver is stamped MG-42 and WaA-519.  There is also another very small stamp on the receiver that I can neither picture, nor describe.  It is an authentic WWII Era German Military stamp.  Maybe .75 cm in width. It is Very Small.  I can send a picture to you of the stamp if you like. This stamp is located on the upper receiver, and the top cover. Included with this auction is one belt and starter tab (No Dummy Ammo included) and one 75 round assault drum. Gun is all metal, the pistol grips are original Bakelite in either Brown or Black (Sorry no choice) and the removable butt stock is wood painted black.  These guns all include a working original dual position Bipod.  Rear sights flip up, front sight flips up, ejection port door opens, as well as he top cover and feed tray.  These replica guns also hold belts.  The Quick Change Barrel door is welded as per federal law. The flash hider unscrews, and the dummy barrel removes.  No internal Bolt or rails.  The Trigger group does remove.  Sling and gunners kit also available.  Gunners Kit is Marked with wreath and eagle + ........

          **Just a note about these buttstocks.  They are 60+ years old.  They are in excellent condition, but are painted black.  We have stripped many of them, and sometimes stripping reveals a minor repair (Maybe 1 out of fifty) like putty in a dent, or a small hairline crack.  Nothing offensive, I assure you.  I mention this, because I prefer a light wood stock for visual astetics on the MG-34 and MG-42.  Sometimes the wood strips perfect and reveals near white wood, and sometimes the best I can get is a medium brown. There is no color consistency when stripping.  I would however, NOT reccomend sanding if you want the lighter wood. Please use a good paint stripper like Zip Strip for best results.  I don't know what kind of paint they used on these, but it's got many coats of a really super quality coating for sure.  We do have a few MG-42's with a Medium Brown butt stock right now, and if you would like one of those, just ask. No extra charge.  Check my other Auctions if you like, and thank you again for looking.
