Up for sale is a full set of 32 playing pieces from the Franklin Mint Star Trek Tridimensional Chess Set issued in 1994. These pieces are used but in decent condition -- though they have some light scratches as shown in the close-up pictures. Also included is the original box to house these pieces in custom-shaped foam inserts which shows some minor signs of wear. Note that this listing includes only the pieces and box to this set as shown, it does not include the board or any paperwork from the set that houses these pieces. Each of these pieces is crafted in either gold or silver plating. The pieces are inscribed with "(c) 1994 Par. Pic." on the base as shown, and range in height from about 1 inch (for the pawns) up to about 2 inches (for the king). These pieces would make a great replacement for a set, or would add an exciting element on their own to a standard chess set.
