Offering a lovely large porcelain plate made in Bavaria Germany by Carl Schumann, featuring Watteau scenes, gorgeous floral bouquets against green and simulated basket molding like reticulated rim! Schumann made Chateau Dresden Flowers and other similar patterns like Garland that resemble the hand painted Dresden and Meissen from the last century, and do combine very well with pristine white and multi-colored floral china!
This beautifully decorated plate is accented with multi-colored flowers and pure gold against bright vivid white as shown!
The flowers are multicolored in shades of pink periwinkle blue, apricot, butter yellow and purple, against pure, vivid bright white!
The gold trim is gleaming as shown with scant traces of wear, there is stacking white wear on the surface as shown, and the plate is marked with the Red Schumann Shield Crown mark which dates to about 1945-55!
There is
NO DAMAGE THAT I CAN SEE OR FEEL!
THIS PLATE MEASURES 10" 1/8" IN DIAMETER!
