Vtg book end chalk aristocratic lady reading with dog

Offered is a single old book end in the shape of an aristocratic lady reading a book with her dog at her side. It's off-white/ivory with some brown in the color. The only other color is her red lips. I think the material is chalk. There are some chips, most notably to the left of the lady. It's about 7 1/2" to the top of her head, 5" wide, and the base 5 7/8" deep. There is felt on the bottom of the base. The mark on the back is "copyright 1939 N A S". Please see the 4th photo for her pretty face.
