The Goldmaster II Series began in 1990.   Greg did the complete field test for Western and Eastern Treasure Magazine and then a year later, followed up with the updated Goldmaster V/SAT Field Test.   The V/SAT is the smoothest of the Goldmaster Series and incorporates several improvements over the original Goldmaster II.   

CONTROLS:

• White's UNIQUE Visual NON-Iron / Iron Meter
• IRON ID on/off Audio, much safer than typical discriminators that cancel out the gold nugget if the ground is stronger or detector is mis-tuned.   Trans Bay considers Iron ID Superior to Iron Discrimination on small targets.
• Improved 10 Turn Audio Threshold.   This is a TRUE threshold and not an Artificial one, so you can monitor the ground changes in complete comfidence unlike those 'other' makes/models that short cut their design.  
• Triple Ground Balance Control; GEB 1:1 turn Course to get you close to balance, Stacked Dual GEB 4:1 and Fine 40:1 means you can balance your threshold so fine, you'll easily hear the tiniest of nuggets deeper than the Super PI Detectors by Whites and Minelab; explained further in my booklet 'Understanding the Goldmaster V/SAT.'
• Power Knob turns Goldmaster V/SAT on and set the Variable Sensitivity from 2 through 10 depending on the mineralization.
• Variable Self Adjusting Threshold... from Slow to X-FAST depending on how fast the ground changes, set for best MAINTANCE of your threshold which is key to HEARING Gold, Meteorites, Coins, Rings etc.    This control also comes in handy when working Salt Water Beaches... simply turn up the SAT Speed and Reduce the Gain for BEST results and pick up those diamond tennis bracelets
• 8 AA Batteries (not included) fit in an 8Pk (new) gives you close to 50+ hours of use depending on targets aquired.
