Offered for auction is Betty Crocker's Picture Cookbook, Revised and Enlarged. This book is in the 5-Ring Binder style. 1956. It is the Second Edition, First Printing published by General Mills. The 472 page book is used but in good condition, particularly given that it is 54 years old. . Obviously there is damage to binding but otherwise book is in good condition.

The binder has wear along the edge and along the spine but is clean and bright. The inside pages are in very good condition, intact, with no writing. The pages have maintained their brightness and whiteness. The only flaws that I see other than cover wear is a couple of faint marks on the cover page and a few small marks on the last couple of pages of the index. This is a favorite for those who collect old cookbooks, particularly Betty Crocker.

Invoices and paying: I try to send invoices immediately after the auction but in any case within 24 hours. Please pay within 10 days because thereafter, I reserve the right to re-list the item. Of course, let me know if there is a problem.

Shipping time: I try to ship within 3 days of receiving payment confirmation. If I can’t, I’ll let you know. I’ll ask you to confirm your address before shipping if Paypal says your address is unconfirmed so I can be sure I am mailing your package to the correct address. I’ll email you when I am about to ship or have shipped.

Domestic Shipping Costs: I charge no handling charges except if the minimum price is $15.00 or over and the item is fragile in which case the handling charge will be the cost of insurance. To the extent possible, I try to carefully pack items using only recycled packing materials. These materials might include egg cartons, plastic water bottles, packing Styrofoam, and newspaper to send you as "green" a package as possible. I will combine items if I can safely repackage your items and it will result in lower postage. I ship by USPS. This item will be shipped USPS media mail.

International Buyers - It is sometimes difficult to determine postage so please email me for shipping before you bid. I will refund your monies if my shipping quote is too high and ask you to pay an additional sum if the USPS cost is higher. The item price and shipping costs do not include import duties, taxes and other charges which are your responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges, which are not shipping charges, are normally collected by the delivering shipping company or when you pick the item up. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts."

Refunds: If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, let me know within seven days and arrange to return it (you pay the return postage) or we can discuss some other resolution depending on the situation.
