A very detailed decorated smoke set depicting a Japanese setting in a copper/brass finish with a musical cigarette box. The cover of the cigarette box shows a three dimensional picture of a large Japanese home in both a brass and copper finish. There is a small bridge in front of the music box and steps leading to a pagoda on the side of it. The ashtray cover has a three cigarette rests and is decorated with flowers and what looks to be a dragon around the edge and birds across the middle. The glass insert is a nice blue cover, suggesting a lake in front of the mountain in the background. The base metal is some silver-colored alloy which can been seen through some areas of wear to the finish, particularly on the cigarette rests, but I believe it is intentional on the mountain to give a snow-covered look. The music box is wound from a key at the bottom. The piece measures approximately 8-1/2 inches long, 5 inches deep and 3-1/4 inches high. A unique piece to add to your tobacciana collection.
