A beautiful little hand built model of a kayak complete with paddle, the oars set at correct angle as you will note. Other aspects of the model would also seem particularly ‘correct’ and this is indeed a very meticulously observed model, for example the hull has been actually built’ from boards- not just a single hewn shape of timber. The kayak comes on its purpose built stand of the same honey coloured species- of hard(ish?) wood. No makers marks- the boat is in excellent condition as shown, and would look to have at least some vintage? Perhaps ca 1950-60’s?
