DESCRIPTION

This is a very nice example of the second most popular lens Hasselblad ever offered (after the 80mm). The glass is clean with no fungus, scratches or clouding. The shutter operates as new having just undergone a complete overhaul.

The focus is smooth as silk and the diaphragm is snappy and oil free. The depth of field preview works correctly.

This lens has just had a complete shutter overhaul which includes the following:

Complete CLA of all operating assemblies
Replacement of main spring
Replacement of sync contact
Clean and degrease of shutter and diaphragm blades
Set timing to manufacturer's specification

There is not a lot to say about what is considered by most photographers to be the finest portrait lens ever made. This is a clean chrome finish non-T* and it fits all 500 series cameras.

The 150 Sonnar has many photographic applications besides portraiture. It is a great lens to use for sports, landscape, nature and many more photographic situations.
