UP FOR SALE TODAY IS A VINTAGE TIN MARX TRAIN SET TWENTY ONE PIECES IN ALL.

THE SET CONSIST OF THE ENGINE, COAL TENDER, OPEN RAIL CAR, LITTLE RED CABOOSE, THE KEY, THE ORIGIONAL EIGHT PIECES OF TRACK AND TEN PIECES OF STRAIGHT TRACK FROM ANOTHER TRAIN SET.

THE ENGINE IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO DENTS OR RUST AND VERY LITTLE PAINT LOSS ON SIDE RAILS. IT RUNS GOOD AND THE BELL ALSO WORKS AS THE TRAIN GOES AROUND THE TRACK.

THE COAL CAR IS A NEW YORK CENTRAL 551. ALSO IN GREAT CONDITION NO RUST OR DENTS AND ONLY  A FEW VERY SMALL SCRATCHES.

THE OPEN CAR IS A BALTIMORE & OHIO 241708YELLOW AND BLACK EXTERIOR WITH A RED INTERIOR. IT IS ALSO IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO DENTS RUST OR SCRATCHES.HOWEVER I THINK IT CAME FROM ANOTHER SET BECAUSE IT HAS METAL WHEELS AND PLASTIC CONNECTORS WHERE  THE OTHER CARS ATTACH TO IT. AND THE OTHER CARS HAVE METAL CONNECTORS AND PLASTIC WHEELS. BUT IT IS A GREAT CAR IN GREAT SHAPE.

THE CABOOSE IS A NYC 20102  GOOD CONDITION WITH GREAT PAINT ON THE BODY WITH A LITTLE RUST ON THE LOWER CHASSIS AND ONE SIDE IS DENTED A LITTLE ( I THINK THIS COULD BE STRAIGHTENED WITH A LITTLE WORK)

THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A EARLY TIN WIND UP TRAIN AS I HAVE EVER SEEN.
