(1) McCormack DNA-HT5 power amplifier.

It is a 5 channel power amp for home theater systems or multi-channel audio setups. It is rated at 5 channels x 125 watts-rms into 8 ohms or 5 x 200 watts-rms into 4 ohms.

It is a fantastic sounding, detailed, yet neutral sounding amp that can deliver plenty of punch to home theater movie soundtracks. Plenty of power to drive the most inefficient speakers and it can handle 4 ohms speakers, unlike MOST expensive home theater receivers !!

It has silver face, with black chassis. Switch on rear panel allows it to be powered from +12v dc trigger (via adjacent terminals) or it can be powered on manually from front panel switch. Multi-way terminals allow bananas, bare wire, spades and speaker pins. (4) Soft rubber feet provide vibration isolation and (4) "coasters" allow it to sit in rack or on shelf without feet leaving marks.

It drove Dynaudio, Bowers & Wilkens (B&W), Vifa and other brands of speakers.  It provided plenty of power, smoothness with a nice sense of impact for movies...

Get high end sound of Krell, Levinson or Pass amplifier for way less with this McCormack !!

There is a scratch on upper right side of front face and a few other very small marks on side heat sinks.  Otherwise, it is in very nice visual condition.

Sale includes McCormack DNA-HT5 amplifier, shipping box with factory packing material, copy of manual and original power cord.

Sold for $3695 new.

 OK, I had a question as to how this compares to Adcom and Rotel multi-channel home theater amplifiers.

I have heard Adcom amps and they are nice, but the DNA series of amps (to me) provides more detail and bass impact than the Adcoms that I heard.  Very nice overall smoothness if present with the DNA amps also.  I have never heard a Rotel amp, so I can't comment there.

The McCormack amplifiers were made in the Conrad Johnson factory in Fairfax, Va along side some of the truly highest of hi-end CJ amps every built.  There is still technical support and service available from these factory technicians and engineers if you have any specific questions.
