The venerable old firm of W.T. Copeland & sons, LTD, SPode Works, Stoke, Staffordshire Potteries operating from 1847, produced luxury porcelains for the mid 19th century fashion and this lovely plate, marked with the old Copeland double cypher dating to about 1855, is pure antique artistry! Like John Rose Coalport, Copeland, Copeland Garrett Spode produced luxury ceramics from the 19th century. Marked as shown, the plate is vintage antique and in marvelous condition with a few utensil marks and minor surface wear commensurate with age. There is no crazing evident, and NO DAMAGE THAT I CAN SEE OR FEEL!

Measuring 9" 1/2" in diameter, the plate gold is shiny and surface smooth, and the plate has

NO DAMAGE THAT I CAN SEE OR FEEL!
