Lionel prewar O gauge automatic train control cataloged 1924-32. The signal is original except the ivory color upper housing is a reproduction part and the signal has new wiring and new light bulbs. The original box has four sides with information on how to connect the signal.  The box did have one box end and this is included, but came detached during photography. The signal is approximately 10 1/2 inches tall. The red and blue (not green) lenses are original and both lights work. The automatic stop feature does not work due to a short. The automatic stop parts have been left in place, but the end of the coil wire has been disconnected. The upper reproduction casting was painted and installed in the mid 1970s  and there are two small chips around the brass plate as shown in photos #1 and #5.
