I will be listing items for a client that just moved here to their Lake Home from Ohio, she had a gift shop there and I will be listing some of those items, so chck back often.
This auction is for a complete set or 100 Pewter American Military Soldiers, Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force. The first issue being that of a Navy Captain in 1776, throught the years and the last issue is that of a Army Ranger Lieutenant in 1975. The name of each soldier with the rank and year is engraved on the bottom of the pewter.
The case that came with the set is wood, appears to be a Cherry wood with Glass doors. It is 35" by 21" and it hangs.
It is all in excellent condition and has all the paperwork and invoices where the owner purchased them. The owner paid over $2,000.00 for this set.
It comes with a very nice book, showing each issue along with information on that soldier, as well as a picture, matching the figurine,There is the Certificate of Authenticity in the back of the book. This is a great set for the collector.
