5 US ARMY TOY SOLDIERS WW II BRITAINS DEETAIL 1971 N/R!










Up for auction is a lot of 5 Britains Deetail U.S. Army Toy Soldiers - in as found played with condition. Each item is embossed on the bottom and 2 of the soldiers are dated 1971 (the other 3 have ‘copyright’ with no date). Each piece does show overall playwear on the plastic figures as well as on the metal bases. One figure has a decal on his helmet – the others do not.

The first two soldiers (2nd picture) are of one figure kneeling (brown weapon) & one standing (green, flesh & brown weapon). The standing figure measures approx. 2 inches tall & the other one measures approx. 1 ½ inches tall. The kneeling soldier has a jointed shoulder (not sure if it is supposed to be this way or if more glue is needed).

The next picture shows the 3 figures in varying positions. The piece on the left with the machine gun measures approx. 2 inches tall. The guy in the middle measures approx. 2 ½ inches (to top of gun) – please note that his gun is slightly warped. Next is the item with the long brown gun. He measures approx. 2 1/8th’s of an inch tall. This figure shows the most wear – whitish patches that are visible in our pictures.
