YOU ARE BIDDING ON :: I am pleased to be offering this multiple veneer Art Deco style cedar lined blanket cedar chest by Lane Cedar Chest Company out of Altavista, VA. This fabulous chest opened up the interior reveals a divided compartment felt lined for your small keepsakes, and a complete cedar lined interior. This particular model is extra-special, because it comes with the original paperwork for the moth insurance. It also has the description, the burnt in logos, and the patent numbers on the interior lid. We have removed the lock mechanism due to current safety standards, and a replacement is available from Lane. When you close the interior lid down and step back, you will see that you have a beautiful unit with the rolled-top front cover, with the multi-veneer scalloped carved foot base, a wonderful style that is in the original finish, which is the medium amber color that highlights the gorgeous veneer used throughout. Overall excellent condition. Only less than normal wear and tear. No major cracks breaks etc. Has a wonderful original finish. No veneer damage. Look close at pictures and you can tell this is a good one. The overall size is 47 1/2" inches long, 18 1/2 inches deep and 22 1/2 inches tall.
