This auction is for a vintage tapestry runner or wall hanging that needs a little tender care.It seems to be made of a lightweight rayon fabric? and has a tan backing.Both sides show wear.Front has some thin areas with tears as do both ends.Back is in better condition but has water marks and some stains but do not go through to front.It has gorgeous stitching in what look like exotic birds of paradise surrounding by colorful flowers.Largest bird in center measures 14" long x 10" high.It has a slight musty odor as well but still lovely and quite unique.Measures 68" long x 30" wide.I hope someone can tell me more about this tapestry.Good luck!Thanks and my home is smoke and pet free.
