You are bidding on a OCEANUS EEL REEL RETRACTABLE LEASH, in good to excellent condition. Retail Price for this leash new is $129.00 + tax in store. I took this off of one of the harness I bought because I have already one. I loved this retractable leash. It helps me from losing my board when I wipe out. It is great for beginner as well as advanced rider but especially helpful for beginner. A small investment will not only save you from losing your $1000 board, but will give you a lot more kiting time!

The Why take the risk of losing your board when you can have it at hand all the time? Surf, flat water, current, strong or gusty conditions, you never have to worry if you can drag back upwind to get board, or when you realise board is beyond retrieval and you have to dump it, body dragging back to shore worrying the dark shadows underneath! The REEL EEL Leash is strong, lightweight retractable devices adapted to a salt-water environment.
This is our latest and most versatile model. The EEL incorporates a number of popular modifications all wrapped into one unit.
In place of our standard shock cord is a 30-inch rope extension. This rope extension is doubled over, stitched, then rubberized to toughen it up and better repel water. Our snap hook, rated at 270 pounds, is attached to the rope extension and two brass rings are attached to the leash strap. If the clip jaws give on a 270+ pound pull the clip stays with the board. A new clip can be cinch-looped onto the rope extension at a very minimal cost. A small investment will not only save you from losing your $1000 board, but will give you a lot more kiting time!
