This is such a beautiful and elegant Lamp! Such fine detailed handpainted workmanship. Horse & Carriage with Lady stepping out of carriage.

What is so unique about this lamp is as shown in pictures, the top metal round finial is the push down metal button switch for turning on & off. It looks as the top crown of the carriage. The inside of the carriage lights up! The bulb is a small night light style standard bulb. When turned on the lovely carriage is illuminated with light. It is simply beautiful. In perfect working order.

All the porcelain figures are handpainted and detailed. It has a 1700-1750's European Style. The figural outfits, accessories etc....

It is marked on bottom handpainted in Japan. There is a crack on one of the horses neck which is easily covered by the chain/ reins. It has been repaired and unnoticable unless looking very closely under the chain. I am not sure if the chain is the original? It is a true Vintage beauty of a lamp. Very unique. I have never seen one that has a switch like this one. The cord is the original.

Measurements: 8"inches length<> x 6" inches height.

 The lamp is in perfect working order. ~A true beautiful Vintage Collectible~

It makes just a beautiful display for room, and allows just enough light to the room. Very pretty at night when turned on!
