DESCRIPTION:  This is the "1944 Argus" yearbook for Tulare Union High school located in Tulare, California.  the softcover yearbook measures approximately 8" by 11 1/4".  The book does not have page numbers but there are at least 100 pages of black and white photos and information about students, teachers, groups, teams, etc.  The photos of the seniors have their names handwritten on them before they were put on the yearbook pages.  The book shows fashions and hair styles for the 1940s.  There is also a two page roster of students who had joined the military to serve in World War II.  The cover shows slight surface wear and slight wear on the corners and edges.  The inside has the name Bill Borges written in ink on the first blank page.  The inside of the book is in very good condition with no other writing and no torn or folded pages.
