I sell high quality images but the clarity of this one astounds even me.  YOu can make out the saliva in her mouth & every pore of her skin.  Incredible!!!

***

Please note:  I am not a big photo dealer or a professional business.  I am just a collector/hobbyist with a real job that takes up most of my time & a family to care for.  I do not have these photos laying around ready to ship on a moment's notice - and there can be (though not in all cases) a lag time of up to a week before I can ship.  Please read the description far below for more details as to why.

If there are any details specifically related & unique to THIS photo  (major flaws - for example) - they will be mentioned just above the three asterisks above here.  Typically - that area is blank.  Please read the ENTIRE standardized description in the itemized sections below at least ONCE - especially noting the scan for any white border this image may have.   Due to the odd shape of some negatives/slides (which are often square or otherwise ill-fitted to the 11x14 format)- SOME photos will contain a white border WITHIN - yes - WITHIN (not in addition to) their 11x14 dimensions.  If you hate white borders & are unclear about whether a photo has one (therefore making the IMAGE itself smaller than 11x14) - read the entire explanation in the DESCRIPTION box below.  If you are still confused - just ask me.

IMPORTANT - Due to Ebay's new Star rating system and its lack of explanation and clarity I would like to try to give you an insight as to how it effects every Ebay business. You would think that a 4 star rating would be good as Ebay says but that is NOT SO. Anything less than a 5 star rating in all categories might as well be a Negative feedback score - because any overall average rating under a 4.8 negatively effects our status & increases our fees. If you are not completely satisfied with any transaction and believe it to be our fault, your fault or nobody's fault  - why not contact us and we will try to take care of the problem or at least explain away any questions you might have.

This photo is 11X14 inches TOTAL - including any potential border -- in a MATTE finish.  The description below is standardized for all my photos - so please read it at least once.  Any specific issues relating to this specific photo will be referenced ABOVE.   PLEASE be sure to look at the supersized scan of the photo for the details of each specific image.  Please be a responsible bidder & carefully examine the supersized scan before bidding.   Only the print is for sale - though most listings include a photo of a portion of my collection of vintage 4x5 negatives & slides.   These are NOT for sale.

This photo measures 11X14 inches - TOTAL - including any potential white border.  That means - if you see a white border within that Auctiva dark frame line above - then the actual image will be a bit smaller - in the EXACT dimensions depicted above (for example - if the image looks square - it is probably closer to 10x10 on 11x14 paper -- and 35mm slides/negs measure closer to 13.5x9 on 11x14).  This is due to the measurements of each individual negative.  Not all images have a border.....but some do.  There will be no returns based on the idea that the bidder was unaware of the border - if & when they exist.  If a border exists - it will be apparent in the scan provided.  So - PLEASE review the scan before bidding - ESPECIALLY if white borders bother you.  If you are still uncertain - INQUIRE - and I will happily clear up any mystery.  The actual 11x14 photo will look EXACTLY like the scan withing the blue/purple lines above.  This is NOT A CHEAP INKJET OR LASER PRINT.  This is a GALLERY quality, archival photograph.  Breathtaking!!!!!   It may or may not have a white border - which WILL be apparent in the small scan you can click to supersize with the blue line around it (that line shows the actual edge of the 11x14 paper.  If there is any white between that line & the image - that represents the border & image in EXACT proportions).  It was made from a vintage studio, copy, inter or publication file negative, slide or transparency.  It is of the finest quality.  All these photos were printed on professional photographic paper by a custom photo lab on single-weight, archival photo paper.  These were struck recently from vintage negatives or slides/transparencies (whether original, studio, copy or file negative -- and whether or not the neg belonged to me or another collector) which were scanned once & stored digitally - to protect the fragile old negative from repeated handling and potential loss or theft.  Digitally scanning old negatives allows the finest photo details to remain crystalline.  I think they look better than darkroom prints.  You will not find a finer quality image or print at this price.  The huge supersized scan of the photo allows you to see every detail before bidding.  Not cheap dupes or computer printouts.  NOT ALL NEGATIVES & SLIDES are created equal.  Some are flawed, some are perfect, some once were perfect but have been damaged over the years.  PLease be a responsible buyer and EXAMINE THE SUPERSIZED SCAN for details before bidding.  The words "from vintage negative" will not appear on the actual photo - but everything else you see on the photo - from studio writing (sometimes a photo will have the star's name and Studio on it or a file number.  Some images may have a white border.  All this will appear in the scan - if it applies) to any dust or scratches or damages that were on the neg - will appear on the print.  This scan represents EXACTLY what the print will look like - including any potential white border resulting from an odd-sized negative.

Please review the scan here.  I promise - you will LOVE the quality of these photographs.

Additionally - like a fine meal - often these prints are made to order - after you win the auction (especially if the item only gets bids in the final moments).   This constitutes about a 4-6 day lag time before I can even mail the item - because these are custom prints done in a high end lab - not homemade computer prints or at a cherap 1-hr photo - and I only place orders at my out-of-state lab ONCE PER WEEK (typically on Sunday).  If there are bids early on - I can get a jump & order early -- but (as I already said) - last minute wins will usually experience a small delay.  This does not apply to 99% of STORE ITEMS - as these are prints I already have physical possession of.
I believe quality is worth waiting for - but if waiting a week or so is too long for you - kindly do not bid.
I apologize for the aggressive use of watermarks.  If they fall on a critical area & you need a cleaner small jpg to view - just ask.  However - please note - the marks fall in EXACTLY the same place on EVERY image listed at the same time.  There is no effort whatsoever to manipulate the image or hide a tiny flaw.

Refunds offered only if the item is significantly not as described.  My feedback should impress upon you how happy my buyers are.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING

Shipping within United States is $3 for the first item then $1 per additional item in the same package.  This rate is for FIRST CLASS mail.    If you opt for this choice - I am not responsible for the package once it leaves my hands.  If you want a tracking number and/or insurance - BE CERTAIN TO OPT FOR PRIORITY MAIL.  That is $5 for the first item and $1 per additional item in the same package.

International rates listed below.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: I apologize if the shipping costs seem high - but they reflect the recently increased cost of domestic and (the unfortunately & increasingly expensive) international PRIORITY mail service offered by the US post office.  It actually costs $24 (I know - awful!  I could not agree more.) to ship a one pound 11x14 overseas, and you can verify this (check a 1lb package for properly packed & protected 11x14's) at www.usps.com.  I am not making ANY profit on shipping.  I ship only priority because it is fast (shortening the opportunity for damage to your prints) & I can track packages.  I also typically ship my photos in costly rigid, plastic top loaders that you can keep to protect your photos forever for both storage & viewing.  However - I am now offering the option of International FIRST CLASS mail for $10 - but if you opt for this choice - I cannnot provide any kind of insurance or any tracking info of any kind - as the post office doesn't offer it.  If you opt for this service - you take full responsibility for the package the moment I put it in the mailbox.  This delivery is slower & impossible to track.  But - if $$ is an issue - this choice is there for you.
The GOOD NEWS is - I do combine shipping.  It only costs $1 additional per image mailed in the same package.  I will gladly hold orders for up to a week if you let me know you are hoping to combine with other items.

Additionally - like a fine meal - often these prints are made to order - after you win the auction (especially if the item only gets bids in the final moments).   This constitutes about a 4-6 day lag time before I can even mail the item - because these are custom prints done in a high end lab - not homemade computer prints.   If there are bids early on - I can get a jump & order early -- but (as I already said) - last minute wins will usually experience a small delay.  This does not apply to 99% of STORE ITEMS - as these are prints I already have physical possession of.
Quality is worth waiting for - and I am not making a profit on the shipping.  I would be grateful if your feedback reflected these realities - outlined above -  when you grade me on shipping time & shipping costs.  If the terms above - both shipping costs & time are not okay with you - please don't bid....because they are realities outside my ability to control.

Non-payment within the time frame Ebay sets triggers automated reminders from Ebay.  Due to a high level of non-paying bidders & Ebay's increasingly high fees - I will file non-payment complaints in the time frame Ebay demands - just to get my closing fees refunded.  Please do not take reminders personally.  They are automatically generated by Ebay computers.  If a non-payment claim is filed and I later receive payment -- I will, of course, close the dispute immediately.

THANKS!
