Ovation Model 1624-4 Nylon String Guitar

The Ovation Country Artist Model is one of the more unique models.

Basically a nylon string for steel string pickers. It has a traditional flat classical fingerboard, but the

nut width width is 1-7/8 inch width. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret. As part of the Artist Series,

this guitar features a slightly shallower Artist depth bowl. The tuners are chrome plated Schaller Classicals.

Ovation FET preamp and single volume control knob on the upper bout.

Condition:

The condition of the guitar is exceptional for it's age. The tuners are as smooth as any new machines.

There is one surface ding on the soundboard. There has been a repair to the top of the headstock. If you look

at the picture it is the top left decoration flair piece.

Guitar includes Ovation case in excellent condition. New strings installed. Oasis trebles and Hannabach Bass.

The sound on this guitar is big and balanced, and can certainly be used without amplification.
