*** Item may need a gentle cleaning. These are vintage items so this should be done carefully.

In some cases I have left contents in the item, ie: bandages, talcum, ointments, powders, although some of it seems fine, please know you are purchasing the tin only even if it’s full. Vintage Lot of 3 Johnson & Johnson BAND-AID Bandages and Dressings Tins

Three different original Band-Aid tins.

---The first is a cute tin somewhat like a “Sucrets” tin,  although the lid comes completely off, not hinged.  It measures 3 1/8 ^th Inches by 2 ¼ inches on the face side and 5/8^th inches high. The

front reads “”” BAND-AID TRADE MARK    Plastic FIRST AID DRESSINGS    WATERPROOF  JOHNSON AND JOHNSON (GT. BRITAIN) LTD.   SLOUGH”””  It has wear, scratches and has some writing on the front that may or may not come off.

---The second tin has a hinged pop top, the whiter one of the 2. This tin measures 3 ½ inches tall 2 ¼ inches wide and about 1 inch deep. It reads on the front “””BAND-AID Plastic Strips NEW OVERALL AIR-VENTS for faster healing Johnson and Johnson””” On top of the lid is a price of 45 cents. It held 31 Adhesive Bandages , and has 4 small original band-aids still in it. It has a few small scratches and a small spot of rust on one side at the bottom.

The third tin looks to be the oldest of the bunch and has a hinged pop top. This tin measures about 3 ½ inches tall 2 ¼ inches wide and about 1 inch deep. The front reads “””36 ASSORTED ADHESIVE BANDAGES    BAND-AID    TRADE MARK      ADHESIVE BANDAGES    MERCUROCHROME PAD      Johnson and Johnson   NEW BRUNSWICK N.J.     CHICAGO, ILL.”””” The tin has something on it that may or may not come off. I did a gentle cleaning maybe something a little stronger would remove whatever it is! It also has some scratching. There are some bandages inside, 5 “Junior Strips”, 7 regular size “Mercurochrome Pads”, 4 Regular size “Plain Gauze Pads” and 2 “Sulfathiazole Pads”
