Chambers Stove circa: 1950 Model 61 C

Chamber Stoves are a wonderful stove for your home. They are famous for cooking with the gas off. She comes with a griddle and broiler pan, three top burners and a Thermal well. The inside oven is clean and has two racks. She also has a side cabinet for storage. The stove is missing the Chambers logo on the back splash. Her oven dial and timer dials are banged up, but you can probably find replacements easily enough. I can provide a couple websites with replacement parts. The chrome top is clean and in nice shape. Her porcelain is fine too, with two small areas where it chipped. One chip is on the top of the back splash at the back and the other is a small chip on the side panel down at the bottom. Both are pretty inconspicuous and do not detract from her regal beauty. The stove was purchased for us several years ago but we never installed it. Please view all photos.

Local pick only, please make sure you have strong helpers. Big Bertha is approx 600 pounds. She measures a substantial 37” across, 27 “deep and approx 44” high in the back with the bolt feet and skirt on. Presently she is resting on a dolly. This stove is being sold as is.

Thank you for your question. It should help others with questions too. I will post it. Each valve turns very smoothly with little resistance and no sticking. The back damper opens and closes when the oven knob is turned on and off. The knobs to rise and lower the broiler work well. The handle to rise and lower the griddle works well too. All the knobs are hooked up to their valves. All thumb latches on each knob operate smoothly.  From what we can see it all seems to be in good working order.
