If you live in North America (USA, Canada, Mexico etc.) you should be able to play:

1. DVD Region-All NTSC (or DVD Region-0 NTSC)
2. DVD Region-1
3. Any VCD
4. Any CD

If you live in Europe, New Zealand and Japan: you should be able to play:

1. DVD Region-All PAL (or DVD Region-0 PAL)
2. DVD Region-coded for your region (2 or 3 or 4 etc.)
3. Any VCD
4. Any CD
