 Olympus CH-2 Microscope

Up for auction is an Olympus CH-2 Microscope. This scope is in good physical condition, with only a few minor scuffs on the exterior. All labeling is clear and very legible. This scope has a binocular head installed, and will come with the following objectives:

  • Olympus E A100 1.25 Oil 160/-
  • Olympus E A40 0.65 160/.17
  • Olympus E A10 0.25 160/-
  • Olympus E A4 0.1 160/-

 

When tested, this scope powered on with no troubles. I was able to increase the light intensity when the intensity knob was turned, and all elevation and other knobs turned and moved correctly. I was able to get a clear, well-focused image through each of the objectives, although there is some dust somewhere in the optical path which is visible when viewing a sample.  There is a picture below of a fiber of paper on 100x magnification.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE NO EYEPIECES WITH THIS MICROSCOPE.  WE TESTED THIS MICROSCOPE WITH AN EYEPIECE BORROWED OFF ANOTHER ITEM.
