This auction is for a OOAK (One Of A Kind) doll-with-a-doll inside a shadow box by the talented Maryanne Oldenberg (an artist featured in The World's Most Beautiful Dolls). One of the great things about this piece is it's meant to hang on the wall like a three-dimensional painting, you don't have to use ANY shelf space and it's nice and safe and out of harm's way. (Important if you're a klutz like me!) It has an antique frame trimmed in vintage lace and measures 11 inches across and 15 inches high. Decoupage made of old photographs lines the inside back of the frame. A 14" pro/sculpt girl with blonde hair, painted blue eyes, a blue and white checked silk dress and molded blue shoes sits in the foreground holding her doll. This ONE OF A KIND piece originally retailed for $1095 in 2002. It has been carefully displayed in my smoke-free home and has no flaws or problems that I can see - no breaks, repairs, stains, odors, or issues of any kind! Nonetheless, I am offering it just under $560. I will consider a layaway if you have good feedback and/or references and make a thirty percent down payment.
