This is a 121-page copy (made from the original manual, and not a copy of a copy) of the original sewing machine manual. The service manual is printed on both sides of the paper, making this an easy-to-handle product. The pictures & lettering are clear and very readable. It covers timing the machine, thread and needle sizes chart, sewing difficulties causes and remedies chart, removing and replacing parts such as needle thread tension and shafts, machine adjustments and settings, oiling points diagram, greasing gears diagram & more. If you own a Class 401 sewing machine, you can keep it running for many more years with this service manual -- a MUST HAVE item at a very reasonable cost.
