It has powerful antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. Not least, the Rose has wonderful perfume. Its precious oil contains important nutrients that are easily absorbed and well tolerated by the skin. Rose Hip extract has a harmonising quality and is rich in tannins, pectin, carotene, fruit acids, fatty oils and vitamins C, B, E and K. Whilst Rose Petal extract, which is a two form distillate, one watery, the other oil based, helps tone the skin. Rose wax acts gently to protect the skin and prevent it from drying out. Beeswax is a soothing skin softener that preserves moisture. Shea Butter, which is a good natural source of vitamin E, is incorporated for its moisturising quality that leaves the skin feeling soft and silky. Marsh Mallow extract is included to stimulate the skin's moisturising processes and for its soothing qualities. And St John's Wort extract brings calming, antibacterial properties.

As a moisturizer, Rose Day Cream serves to pamper and protect the skin. In the morning, first cleanse and tone the skin and then dispense a small amount of cream into the palm. Warm the cream between the hands and press together as this will help in application. Gently apply it to the face, neck and earlobes.

This preparation can be used for all skin types in very cold weather. For extra protection, if your skin is particularly dry, and after application of Rose Day Cream, follow by using Toned Day Cream. Instructions for Use

1. Squeeze a small amount of Rose Day Cream onto the palm of your hand and warm it by pressing your hands together. This makes it easier to apply.
2. Gently apply to face, neck and earlobes.

• Rose Day Cream can be used on all skin types in very cold weather.
• Mix with a couple of drops of Translucent Bronze Concentrate for a tinted moisturizer.
• If your skin tends to be very dry, apply Toned Day Cream after the Rose Day Cream for extra protection.
• Apply a light dusting of Translucent Face Powder - Loose to seal moisture in, and to set make up.
• Rose Day Cream is wonderful as a baby care moisturizer.
• Rose Day Cream, or indeed any of the Dr.Hauschka moisturizers, should not be used at night time as the skin uses this period to excrete toxins absorbed during the day - so any products that interfere with these natural processes should be avoided.
• Daily use of night creams can mean that the skin becomes dependant on an external source of moisture rather than producing its own.
• If your skin feels taut after cleansing in the evening, be patient. Wait 20-30 minutes and the skin will re-balance itself. Make sure that you are rinsing the Cleansing Cream off properly. If you have been using night creams for a long time, then your skin may need extra support in the changeover period to Dr.Hauschka, and in this case, we recommend the Rhythmic Night Conditioner ampoules.

• For maximum effectiveness, please use this product within 3 months of opening.
