About the Shirts

The Mountain is a manufacturer of high quality, hand dyed garments. They are 100 percent heavy weight cotton. All shirts are pre shrunk and hand dyed to provide years of durable wear. With hand dyed shirts , each is unique and colors may vary slightly. The Mountain prints with a unique process that dyes the actual fiber, unlike companies that lay inks on top of the shirt like a plastic coating. Their printing process produces an image that has incredibly true detail, vibrant color and gives their shirts their caressing soft feel and exceptional durability.

The Mountain products are 100% Oekotex 100 certified, which guarantees their shirts are 100 percent free of chemicals that are harmful to your body. They use only water based inks, which are enviromentally friendly. The Mountain sizes a re different than most due to the dyeing process, so measure your current shirt to compare sizes. 

About the Sizes

We ask that you measure the shirt you have now and compare to see what size you will need. The Mountain sizes are different than most because of their dyeing process. Measurements are approximate.

 Length is top of shoulder to bottom of hem in inches.

Pit to pit/ width is under one arm across the chest to under the other arm in inches.

   If I need to order your shirt for you, in MOST cases I ship within the week.   Occasionally, The Mountain may be out of stock. If that should happen, I will let you know and process a refund for the out of stock item. As part of their ECO - Friendly effort, The Mountain operates on a "Green" week schedule, only open Monday thru Thursday.

 International shipping is available and for multiple shirt orders please contact us for a quote. Individual worldwide are auto-calculated for Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope or Small Flat Rate Box at checkout. International customs fees and or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping times will vary and are not guaranteed as each countries postal service may vary based on a number of variables.

Combined orders of our other products to be shipped with shirts will be handled under the shipping terms of the non -shirt products, and shirts will be then considered as additional items with a rate of $1 per shirt up to a maximum of $10 added to the shipping cost of the non - shirt product. The time frame for shipping shirts will apply in these cases. If you need one of our other products faster, we recommend creating two separate transactions.

All of our shirts are new, factory first run. We send defects back to Mountain in Keene, New Hampshire and dont have daily access to the Mountain thrift store there that sells factory seconds, blemished and defects to the locals. We wont ever sell a second run shirt!
