America's love affair with recreation and fitness spawned a proliferation of sports footwear. It is not unusual for an active individual to have a variety and multiple pairs of sports footwear that spends a good deal of time in out-of-season storage.

Proper care of most classes of sports footwear requires drying and good air circulation to retain their usefulness and provide a reasonable service life. Those objectives are achieved when footwear is properly hung in an inverted position.

Other hanging devices, 'S' hooks and clasp, are only marginally effective and create some of the problems they were designed to avoid. Also, storing boots in their original sales container results in folds and creases, thus never allowing the footwear to dry properly.

Except for slight indentations on either side of the heel, there is not material damage to the boot. GRIP HANGER can be adjusted by merely pulling the spring legs in opposite directions to reduce the gripping width and pulling the gripper ends in the opposite directions to increase the gripping width. Also, for boots with unusually wide heels, it may be necessary to bend the gripping member downward to achieve a firm grasp.

GRIP HANGER is made of 4mm rust-free spring steel and has been engineered to exert 10lbs of pressure at the gripper ends.
