Vintage Barbie Doll Trousseau Metal Double Trunk Case 1964

Here is a great vintage trunk that is very hard to find! It is made of metal & plastic & is a double case large enough to hold 4 dolls, their clothes, accessories & wigs. The handle is good, not broken or cracked and still hinged on very well. There is some rust on the latch, but it is still in good working order. On the top outside of the case there is a small indention on the front & a small crack in the top corner (see photo). The metal on the bottom is in very good condition. The outer silver metal does show small signs of rust as seen in the photos.

Inside the case the wig stand is still attached & one wig holder does have some type of glue and hair stuck on it. One of the doors to the accessory compartments is missing, but the other one is there and works good. There is some holes and cracking of the plastic on the inside of the case (see photos).

The overall case could use a good cleaning, but I will leave that up to the new owner. I bet with a lot of patience & diligent cleaning this case could look beautiful again! It still displays nicely as it is too.

The case measures approx. 10 1/2 inches X 13 inches.

This case is very hard to find & is very desirable among Vintage Barbie Doll collectors.

Some items may need a stitch or two, a new button etc. or need washing. Some items may have stains. We will try to disclose these flaws when describing our items, but due to the age of the items, sometimes we may miss a flaw or two, so if you are picky...please email us & we will personally look the item over a second time to give you a very clear description of any flaws.

Shipping & Handling Terms

The first price quoted for shipping is U.S. Shipping only. We ship USPS with in 2 days after payment has been received, except for Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. We ship UPS and FEDEX every Wednesday. We can send items expedited for an extra charge. Please email us for a quote. Some items are not elgible for a shipping discount or combined shipping as they are packed seperately. All of our listings contain a handling fee which is included in the shipping costs paid by you. For items that qualify, combined shipping discount rates are only elgible for purchases made within 48 hours of eachother. If items are not paid with-in 48 hours full shipping charges will apply and items will no longer be elgible for a shipping discount.



Insurance Terms
We offer insurance on all of our auctions as an option to the buyer. Insurance is required on all international sales! We recommend insurance as we are not responsible for lost or damaged items once in the shippers hands. If insurance is purchased and a claim needs to be filed, we will assist the buyer with the claim and provide receipts to the buyer. Buyer is responsible for filing any claims with shipper. We may at our own option use another insurance company besides the one offered by the USPS or UPS. If insurance is purchased, proof will be provided apon written request.
