Check out the exceptional graphics in this tie! The background is soft ivory with an underlying swirly weave that catches the light. The pattern depicts the table of periodic chemical elements showing their abbreviations, full names, their numbers and atomic weights in black frames. Then there are realistic images of all sorts of scientific instruments; beakers, bottles, bunson burners, and microscopes in rich colors. Really a striking design! It measures @3 3/4" wide and is 59" long. On the back is the maker label/keeper which shows "Museum Artifacts, All Silk", and the tag at the small end shows it is "Hand Made, All Silk". This pre-owned tie is in EXCELLENT LIKE NEW CONDITION. Seriously, I'm not at all certain it has ever been worn! What a fantastic gift this would make for that scientist in your life.
