Up for your consideration is the original publication of an antique short story about social status and rising up in the world. It was taken from a disbound Graham's American Monthly Magazine, published in Philadelphia in 1848 by Samuel D. Patterson & Company. This is an ORIGINAL article -- NOT A REPRINT. It is 6 pages long.

The entire piece measures approximately: 6-1/8" x 10" (15,5 x 25,5cm). The paper is tanned with age, most especially around the edges and one vertical side has evidence of this once having been bound in the magazine. It has some minor foxing (little brown age spots). There is some light surface soil. Otherwise clean and odor-free.
