Description:

Feast your eyes on this fantastic 10-row turquoise snake eye Zuni handcrafted sterling silver cuff bracelet, with two-hundred-fifty (250) individually bezel set genuine turquoise snake-eyes (5 sections of 50 stones each). There is a double rope design between each section and tiny silver beads surrounding each and every stone. What an incredible amount of work goes into making one of these bracelets! Only the Zuni have mastered working with such small stones. The stones are all a perfectly matched sky blue color.

This bracelet was entirely hand made by the Zuni artist April Haloo, daughter of Peter III & Vivian Haloo. Peter and Vivian Haloo have been creating beautiful snake-eye jewelry since 1965. They specialize in "snake eye" settings using his grandparents' designs. And now their children are following in their parents' footsteps, creating jewelry that is even more beautiful, if that is possible. April uses extremely small cut stones that are set into individual saw tooth bezels. This is an incredibly tedious task. Each bezel must be prepared and each stone must be cut to the same size and shape as the others. The result is a stunning silver and turquoise cuff bracelet. Very feminine.

The bracelet is 1" wide. The inner circumference of the bracelet measures 5-1/4" end-to-end with a carefully adjustable opening gap of 1-3/8". Bracelet weighs 41.3 grams. Check our store for a tall matching ring by the Haloo family! See the last photo.
