You'll find it works to enliven the skin's natural moisturizing processes by stimulating the blood and lymph circulation, which helps regulate its moisture and oil contents. Its very unusual aroma adds to the pleasure of using this product.

Moisturizing Day Cream has a subtle and harmonious ingredient blend, which includes Anthyllis, Witch Hazel, Carrot, Calendula and St. Johns Wort Extracts and Apricot Kernel, Sweet Almond and Jojoba Oils that will care for and protect your skin.

Just dispense a small amount of cream into your palm and apply to your face, neck and earlobes. This preparation is easily absorbed and leaves no oily film on the skin.

Due to its activating properties, we don't recommend this cream for the couperose (reddened and thread-veined) skin condition.

Instructions for use

1. Use in the morning after Cleansing Cream and Facial Toner.
2. Dispense some Moisturizing Day Cream into the palm of your hand - a little goes a long way!

Moisturizing Day Cream has a pleasant, stimulating and unusual aroma and a light liquid consistency that is easily absorbed. It acts to regulate the skin's oil and moisture contents and provides protection while enlivening the natural moisturizing processes by stimulating the blood and lymph circulation. This will reinvigorate the pale complexion.

This preparation has a subtle and harmonious ingredient blend. Its main constituents are Anthyllis Extract that balances and helps the skin's regenerative processes; Witch Hazel Extract has astringent, toning qualities, which stimulate blood circulation and strengthen the capillaries-- it also has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. Also contained is Carrot Extract, which is an excellent emollient (softening and soothing properties). Calendula Extract has astringent and antiseptic properties that tone and soothe, leaving the skin feeling supple. St. Johns Wort Extract stimulates new skin growth and has antibacterial and antiviral properties. Whilst Apricot Kernel oil, which is light, non-greasy and easily absorbed, has restorative qualities.

For best results, apply the cream in the morning after cleansing and toning. Dispense a small amount into the palm and apply to the face, neck and earlobes and then gently press into the skin.

For especially dry skin, combine with Quince Day Cream or Toned Day Cream. Each preparation may be mixed with or applied over Moisturizing Day Cream. As a special touch, mix a few drops of Translucent Bronze Concentrate for that healthy glowing skin effect.

Due to its activating properties, this cream is not recommended for couperose (reddened and thread-veined) skin.

Dr.Hauschka does not recommend the use of moisturizers at night, as this is when the skins own restorative forces are most active. If you have been a long time user of night cream, you may notice some skin tautness when first discontinuing use - this is due the skin's dependency on this nightly routine. Please be patient and wait 20-30 minutes after cleansing for the skin to rebalance. If greater support is required during the transition period, use Dr.Hauschka Rhythmic Night Conditioner Ampoules.

Hints and Tips

• Mix with a couple of drops of Translucent Bronze Concentrate for a tinted moisturizer.
• Keep in a cool place away from direct sunshine.
• An ideal moisturizer for men as it is absorbed quickly and leaves no oily sheen.
• Moisturizing Day Cream, or indeed any of the Dr.Hauschka moisturizers, should not be used at night time as the skin uses this period to excrete toxins absorbed during the day - so any products that interfere with these natural processes should be avoided.
• Regular use of night creams can mean that the skin becomes dependent on an external source of moisture rather than producing its own.
• If your skin feels taut after cleansing in the evening, be patient.  Wait 20-30 minutes and the skin will re-balance itself.  Make sure that you are rinsing the Cleansing Cream off properly.  If you have been using night creams for a long time, then your skin may need extra support in the changeover period to Dr.Hauschka, and in this case, we recommend the Rhythmic Night Conditioner ampoules.
