Details:
This is a beautiful original watercolour painting (c. 1800) from Germany on laid paper. It probably shows the swallow-tailed kite, an elanid kite which breeds from the southeastern United States to eastern Peru and northern Argentina.

Leaf size: about 23 x 18 cm
Image size: about 16 x 10 cm

Condition:
- minor defects at the white margin
- otherwise well-preserved
