Polycarbonate (PC) lenses are super lightweight, premium-grade plastic resin lens which are 20 times more impact resistant than glass and a third of the weight. Bolle Polar Modulator Lenses are not only Polarized to eliminate glare and help reduce eye fatigue, they also feature Photochromic Lens Technology. As Light conditions change, the Bolle Modulator Lenses lighten and darken to change with them. Active Cell Technology works at the molecular level, quickly responding to changing light conditions to give you the best eye protection and performance.
