This week I am selling a large selection of 8mm and 16mm home movies, 16mm commercial movies and some 35 mm slides from various estate sales. To see a complete list after bidding on this one Click here.

This movie starts with an old man and a younger woman clearing brush. You get the idea there is a purpose here and soon you learn that this will be the site of a new home. Foundation is dug and basement put in. Framing is done and board put up. Paint is applied. Then you see the completed home over several seasons which might have spanned a couple of years. Several generations are in this movie so I am not quite sure who lived here. There are great shots of fall color and playing with a do in the yard, mowing the yard too. Last of movie shows the house in winter and there is a break in the film at this point. The house is probably near Chagrin Falls Ohio since there are some shots of the falls, the village stores, etc. This is a great movie that tells a story and even has a title on the can "Our Home."
